About COP 30

COP30, held in Belém, Brazil in November 2025, marks a pivotal moment in global climate action as it shifts focus from negotiating commitments to delivering concrete results. Dubbed the “Amazon COP,” the United Nations Climate Change Conference emphasizes the critical role of the Amazon rainforest in climate sustainability and launches the Belém Declaration for Green Industrialization to accelerate energy transition and foster a green economy worldwide.
