How big is the group size?
The size of our chapters varies depending on the destination and season. Our chapters typically consist of 5-15 participants.
For some instances where a group size gets below 5, we will invite you to a few extra experiences at no additional cost: from friends dinners, night meetups, to group sports. This type of cohort is indeed preferred more by our travellers- since you'll be making more local friends, rather than hanging out mostly with fellow foreigners participants.
What's the payment policy?
You have the option to pay in full, pay a deposit and the rest later, or with a payment plan (depending on how far in advance you make the booking). More info on payment can be found here.
Do you offer couple, friends, or group discount?
Yes, we offer discounts when you bring your friends:
- 30% off for each participant: For two friends staying in the same room together.
- 10% off for each participant: For two or more friends staying in separate accommodations (regardless of which accommodation type they book).
- Additional 5% off for each participant: For friends that come in a group of 3 or more (on top of another discount).
How it works? Discounts will be applied after your checkout.
- If you make the group booking in one, we will automatically apply the discount after your booking, and refund you the price reduction.
- If you make the booking separately, please let us know at sabbatical@hyperlocaltravel.com which participants are coming with you, and we'll apply the price reductions to each booking.
