What’s the weather like during the trip?
East Africa offers beautiful weather year-round. Rwanda and Uganda are cooler, especially in the mornings and evenings, with mild temperatures between 18°C to 25°C (64°F to 77°F). Kenya's coastal areas, like Mombasa, are warmer with temperatures ranging from 25°C to 30°C (77°F to 86°F). Be prepared for occasional rain showers, particularly in the highlands.
What should I pack?
Pack light, breathable clothing for the day, but also bring layers for the evenings when temperatures can drop. Comfortable golf attire, golf shoes, and a hat are essential. Don't forget sunscreen, sunglasses, and insect repellent. If you're planning to explore the safari-like courses at Vipingo, comfortable footwear for walking is recommended, and bring swimwear for hotel pools.
Are golf clubs provided, or should I bring my own?
While you’re welcome to bring your own golf clubs, most hotels and golf courses provide rental clubs. If you prefer to travel light, let us know in advance and we’ll ensure quality rentals are available for you.
Will there be any wildlife encounters during the trip?
Yes! Particularly at Vipingo Ridge, you’ll encounter wild animals roaming the course, including giraffes, zebras, and antelope. These animals are part of the unique charm of the course, offering a safari experience while you play.
How fit do I need to be for this trip?
