About

Located in northern Botswana, Chobe National Park covers approximately 11,700 km². The park features diverse landscapes including the lush Chobe Riverfront, dry Savuti marsh, expansive floodplains, and dense woodlands. It is renowned for being home to Africa’s largest elephant herds.


Wildlife

Chobe is teeming with elephants, lions, leopards, buffalo, and a wide variety of antelope species. Bird enthusiasts will find over 450 species, including southern carmine bee-eaters and African spoonbills. Boat safaris along the Chobe River provide close encounters with hippos and crocodiles.
